The Faculty of Dental Medicine seeks to train highly qualified specialist doctors who are able to provide treatment to patients in various fields of oral medicine and surgery, to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and to support scientific research. Within the relationship with the community, the Faculty of Dental Medicine includes clinics and laboratories that provide treatment services to citizens at nominal prices.

Since its inception, the Faculty of Dental Medicine has been committed to making excellence a fundamental goal of its journey.

The faculty went through several stages, and was initially part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, later branching out into two branches that were later united into one faculty in the University Campus - Hadath.

The directors and then the deans who succeeded in managing the faculty were keen to enhance the scientific level in all its departments and to establish a special department for scientific research to enhance studies and research. Agreements were also concluded and memorandums of understanding were signed with many health institutions and international universities.

Thanks to all these efforts and the continuous support of the Presidency, the faculty was able to reach the ranks of prestigious local and international universities, and its graduates are now proud of their degrees wherever they may be.

Today, in light of the difficult circumstances that the university and the country are going through, we are determined and committed to maintaining the faculty and its academic level thanks to the support of the President and the efforts and sacrifices of the professors and administrative staff, and we will make every effort to preserve the faculty and its leading position.

On a personal level, I have accompanied the faculty since its inception and was one of its first graduating class. I lived through its various stages, both good and bad. I grew up with the faculty and in it.

And here I am today, from my capacity as Dean, I pledge to you that I will make every effort to overcome this difficult stage so that our faculty remains as we have always known it, a source of pride for all.
